The Cummins is located 3 inches to the left in the engine bay as opposed to the stock Land Rover placement which is offset further to the left.
I will move the engine rearwards so the shifter will be just in front of the seat box.
I have also noticed that I can move the engine up about an inch. This will allow the axle housing more clearance and the turbo’s waste gate actuator will not touch the frame.
I will move the engine as high as possible. I will need to re route the turbo outlet tube. I need to do so any how if I am going to use an inter cooler. I will also have to modify the hood structure as I want to keep the deluxe hood.
